If you have previous work from another artist, I need it to be at least 80 percent faded for me to work over it. Removal may be suggested to proceed. 

 

All new clients to me are considered first time appointments even if you have had work done on your eyebrows already.

Once you schedule an appointment a nonrefundable $50 deposit will be required at the time of booking to hold the appointment which will go towards your service. If you have an emergency come up, you will be allowed to reschedule one time without losing your deposit. Please read the cancellation policy under the contact page.
 

Micro blading, Nano and shading information and what to expect:

 

This is a semi-permanent cosmetic service that is a 2- 3 step process. This is not the same as a traditional tattoo. The pigments being used are a much higher quality and we are only going 2-3 layers into the surface of the skin whereas a tattoo is going 4-6. This allows the pigment to fade out over time so it can age with you! As soon as 1-3 years after your follow up appointment you will typically need to come back for a touchup annually to richen up the color and freshen up the shape!  

 

Microblading consists of creating hairlike strokes in the skin with a blade. (best for age 50 and younger with normal to dry skin)

Nano is the process of creating hair strokes in the skin with a tattoo machine. (suitable for all skin types)

Shading is going to give you a more filled in pulled together look. (suitable for all skin types)

 

In your first appointment it will be about 3hrs or more. We will consult on everything together. You are a part of the whole process from color to shape. Please be prepared before your first appointment to have an idea of what you are looking to change or enhance about your eyebrows. Look at some shapes and colors of brows to see what calls to you. I will help make recommendations but ultimately you are the decider on what you are comfortable with. I will send you home with a full aftercare kit and instructions. At that time, we will schedule your follow up touch up.  

 

At your first appointment the goal is to lay the foundation. When you come back for your touchup, we can perfect and make sure everything is satisfactory. Sometimes 1 additional touchup is needed. You must allow at least 7 days for your initial healing time. During this time, you must keep your skin clean and hydrated which I will go over more in depth at your appointment. Do not sweat, swim or steam your skin in any way during the 1st 7 days of healing! You must also keep your eyebrows out of the sun!!  For the first 6 hours after the appointment, 1 time every hour you will need to blot your eyebrows with tissue paper to absorb any lymph that comes to the surface and reapply ointment (I will demonstrate). Please plan your day accordingly. You are a big part of the healing process! Immediately after and up to 48hours from the appointment your eyebrows may be swollen, red or itchy. The 5 days following you may become, itchy, flaking and patchy looking. Do not ever scratch or pick your eyebrows or touch them without clean hands. You should only touch them to wash and re-apply ointment. You must let all flaking naturally exfoliate away or it could result in scarring or color loss. 

 

I will always take great care of your skin and follow all sanitation laws. There is no guarantee how a person's skin will take and hold pigment. Everyone's skin and body chemistry are different!

Contraindications:

 

A Contraindication is something that disqualifies you from being a candidate

-Any scars in the brow area

-Taking blood thinners

-Pregnancy/Breastfeeding

-Botox within two weeks of your appointment 

-Accutane within the last 12 months

-Active acne in the brow area

-Freshly tanned/sunburned face

-peeling skin

-currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation

-Autoimmune disorder where you could have trouble healing

 

For best results Please do not drink alcohol the night before or morning of your appointment and limit your caffeine. Please do not take any Advil or IB Profin unless instructed by your DR. 

Do not use any exfoliants for 3 days prior to your appointment

Do not use chemical exfoliants 7 days prior to your appointment

Do not use Retin A for 14 days prior to your appointment

Do not take any vitamins including fish oil 24hrs prior to the appointment
